McCann Manor and the Innkeepers
Because of the unique nature of bed & breakfasts, each reflects the personality of its owners.
For that reason, we think it’s important for you to know a little about us.
After many years of planning and a painstaking search throughout the United States, we
found Dayton. The day that Jeff finally retired from the Marine Corps, we were packed and
ready to move.
We chose Dayton because the area offers a combination of year–round indoor and
outdoor activities, spectacular landscapes, mild seasonal weather, friendly people and
a serene, small-town American feel.
And finally, we fell in love with the historic home that was built by Louis Loren Day in
1893. It was destined to become McCann Manor.
Our goal is to create a peaceful and lighthearted atmosphere in which our Guests can unwind and renew. Fancy, but not stuffy.
The fine details are what will differentiate McCann Manor from others in the lodging industry and are what will make the Manor
a stand–out in the innkeeping community.
Your Hosts
Ann will be the host you will see most often during your stay at the Manor, as Jeff  teaches
full–time at the local middle school.
~ Jeff and Ann McCann, Proprietors
Our focus as innkeepers is on the superior, individualized attention given to your comfort, and the luxury amenities and
exceptional cuisine that you’ll find at McCann Manor.
Ann’s design talents, coupled with Jeff’s skills as a craftsman, are the instruments through which the Manor will be
transformed into the stunning and grand home that it once was and that we know it will be again.

Once our vision is realized, we'll invite you to our home and will look forward to meeting you and serving you in gracious style.

Coming
Soon
We’re Jeff and Ann McCann, your owner/innkeeper hosts at McCann Manor.
We're delighted that you asked...
On weekday mornings and afternoons, Jeff will be working primarily behind the scenes.
He’s the guy who gets up early to squeeze the orange juice, to put your coffee on to brew
and to act as Ann’s prep–chef. When he’s not at school, you’ll see him working around the
Manor performing the never ending maintenance required by an old house, or he'll be in
his wood shop doing what he loves best (next to playing golf, that is).
