Theodore Roosevelt was a unique and complex man, to say
the least.
From American President to Rough Rider. Maybe you can
learn something new about this remarkable man as you
relax among the lush textures and warm ambiance of this
room that was created in his honor.

His First Lady, Edith, would have loved this room, too. In one of their rare more
intimate moments, one can imagine the two of them sitting together in the big
leather chair looking out over the Manor’s weeping willow garden … closing out the
rest of the world if only for a few moments.
Come and see why Mr. Roosevelt praised
Walla Walla as making "the pleasantest
impression upon my mind of any city I
visited while in the Northwest."
[Most people today like Dayton even better!]
